Creative and Cheap - Fun and Fabulous

I love to create things-whether it be planning parties, making family photo books, re-doing my kids bedrooms, or just experimenting. However, I am on a tight budget, so I try hard to find good deals. Some things work and some don't-but I love to try. Many of the things I have done are ideas I have picked up from others, and some are ones I have created. I am always looking for ways to do things, inexpensively. I really enjoy planning parties and want to share those ideas with others.

Fun Gifts

I made this candy boquet for my son for kindergarten graduation. I think it turned out so cute and it was super easy. It took about 10 minutes.

Here is what I used:
-vase (you could also use a basket or a mug)
-floral foam -shredded paper
-bamboo skewers
-1 or 2 ballon weights
-candy
-ribbon
-glue gun

I got all the stuff at the $store. The Congrat Grad thing is a gift card holder and worked perfectly.
I can't wait to make more. I am going to try some holiday themes like Halloween and Thanksgiving. Don't you think they would make a cute Chrstmas gift???
